NextWink respects our members' right to privacy. When we collect information about our members, we make every effort to give them the option to "opt out" of providing such data. Members can edit all of their data (except Username) or delete their account at any time.

Information collected on our website is stored on our web hosting company's secure database server. Industry standard security measures are used to protect the data. However, you must realised that "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

NextWink does not collect sensitive data from you such as your real name, phone number, street address, credit card number (we are 100% free. No charges ever!), etc. However, because the website is mainly an online dating community, we need to collect date of birth of dating members. This information is used to display the member's age on his/her profile. Date of birth is not displayed.

We collect members' email address to be able to communicate with them for account registration, lost password request, and other notification email deliveries such as match report.

NextWink does not sell, rent, or reveal your email address to any third party. You are advised not to display your email address in your profile.

Photos uploaded by members are watermarked with NextWink website URL. This ensures that these photos can't be illegally used by other websites.

We do record the member's IP address in cases where our service could be abused or legal rights could be violated. These cases may include, but not limited to, forum posts, blog posts, account registration, etc.

NextWink does not explicitly use cookies for tracking your personal information. However, to be able to log you in and recognise logged-in users and to track their settings and preferences, we use sessions on our web server to store a 32-character number which can uniquely identify each logged-in member.

Member passwords are the only guarantee of the integrity of a user's personal information. All users are encouraged to select strong passwords and to never share them. No one shall knowingly expose the password of another user to public release either directly or indirectly.

Technically, we adopt strong algorithm to protect member passwords. All passwords are stored in hashed format. That is, passwords are not stored in their original, raw data format but converted to and stored in non-reversible hashed format. As our policy, when a member request a forgotten password, instead of sending the existing password to his/her registered email address, we send a unique and personalised link to that email address. The member needs to log into his/her email account and click that link to visit a password change page on our site.

NextWink will not sell, rent, or share private information, such as email addresses, with third parties, unless you agree to release this information.

If required by law, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other private information will never be disclosed the government or any other law enforcement agencies. For example, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you for violation of intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights to law enforcement and other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us or you to legal liability.

Under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access private communications, or members may abuse or misuse your information that they collect from our websites. Please note that private information you provide through the Internet can be intercepted by third parties. It's the members'responsibility to protect their privacy in this regard.

NextWink is not responsible for, and cannot control, the use by others of any information which you provide to them or displayed on our website. You should always use caution in selecting the personal information you provide to others through our website. NextWink is also not responsible for information you receive from other members. We cannot guarantee, and assume no responsibility for verifying, the accuracy of the information.

Although we use industry standard practices to protect members' privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your private information or private communications will always remain private. NextWink makes no guarantee against unauthorized access to any information you provide.

You can review and change your private information in members-only area. Your profile can be made hidden so that no one can see it.

You also have the option to delete your membership. However, due to technical and legal constraints, including stored back-up systems, your information is never completely removed from our system. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your private information will be completely removed from our databases.
